Checklist: Interpret an ECG

  • Accurately calculate the ventricular rate.
  • Accurately determine whether the rhythm is regular or irregular.
  • Accurately assess the P waves.
  • Accurately measure the PR interval.
  • Accurately measure the QRS complex.
  • Accurately evaluate the T waves.
  • Accurately determine the QT interval.
  • Accurately evaluate for other components.
  • Accurately identify the type of rhythm represented.
