Mental health conditions and neurodevelopmental disorders can significantly impact the functioning and well-being of a client, as well as their family members. The chapter begins with an overview of general assessments and treatments related to mental health conditions, followed by sections describing common psychotropic medications, psychotherapies, and treatments for various mental health conditions.[1]
