WisTech Fusion: Supplementary Materials
WisTech Fusion is a new tool that’s designed to help with one of the biggest challenges in OER—creating all the “extras” that usually come with a traditional textbook.
With Fusion, you can generate things like:
- Quizzes and assessments
- Slide decks
- Study guides
- Worksheets
- Case studies
Instead of building these from the ground up, Fusion gives you a starting point that you can edit and adapt for your course.
Wisc-Online Learning Objects
Browse Wisc-Online Learning Objects
Wisc-Online is a long-standing collection of interactive learning materials created by Wisconsin educators. It’s a great option when you want to add a little more engagement without creating something new yourself. Learning objects can be linked directly in your LMS.
You’ll find:

- Practice exercises and self-checks

The WisTech Open | Open RN YouTube channel provides free educational videos that instructors and students can use as supplemental resources to reinforce learning, review key concepts, and support accessible, media-rich instruction across disciplines.
Connecting Content into the LMS
Pressbooks is the platform used to create and host WisTech Open textbooks. If you’re using one now, you’re familiar with how it organizes content into chapters and sections. One of the biggest advantages of Pressbooks is how easily it fits into your LMS. You can:
